Exercising my body and creative side

It's a good thing I don't earn a living at blogging.  There really hasn't been much happening lately, therefore, the reason why the blog's been quiet.

I can tell you that I have been keeping up on my exercising.  With only 14 days into the new year, I think that's not too bad.  We'll see if it's still going by March.  Actually, I want it to be.  I have been feeling much better and stronger.  What have I been doing? A rotation of 30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, and Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism.

I have watched a couple of episodes of The Biggest Loser.  I remember seeing a kind Jillian and a kick-butt Jillian.  These videos are a combination of the two.  She has such a sweet demeanor, but really, she's out to get ya!  Am I losing weight?  I don't know because I don't own a scale.  I do know that my pants fit better, so I think that's a great sign.

I finally finished the socks I was working on.  After I give them a wash and have Brianna model them so I can take a picture, I'll show you how they turned out. When I tried the first sock on, I noticed that the pattern pops when they're on.  So, they must be modeled.

In the meantime, I'm working on a hat for Brianna from my favorite titled knitting book.

The yarn color is called "Shocking."  Shocking name, right?!  She picked out the color based upon her hair.  Oh to coordinate your accessories with your hair color.

My only complaint this week?  I'm not impressed with the writing of the last two episodes of Downton Abbey.  Why do Bates and his cell mate have it out for each other?  NO ONE KNOWS!  Shesh, writers....give us a bit of a clue.  And, I've been tired of Mary whining about money and the prospect of the poor family needing to move to a "smaller" house.  I'm sorry people, but I have no sympathy for you.   The only sympathy I have is for poor Edith.  Poor, poor Edith.  Oh, and let's spend episode 2 talking about how dreadful it is to wear the wrong jacket to dinner.

Sorry, writers.  I know it's not fair to complain about an episode a week after it aired.  But do you see where you've left me?

That yarn is delicious seriously it makes me hungry looking at it! Can't wait to see the socks modeled and it's not because I'm into feet or anything weird like that.

Downton? I was so tired of hearing Matthew the Martyr nobly refusing the inheritance, much like he refused to marry when he had been injured in the war. He's all about him, him, him.

Michele: I don't know. I thought he was being quite noble. I got the feeling that he thought it was unearned and it was so unexpected. I've never really thought him to be all into money, so I kind of liked it.

It was Mary that bugged me with her whining about money. Get over it! The times are changing! Make sure you bring dowager granny along with you!

BTW - I do love dowager granny! She has some great one liners!
