Yarn Along

I'm typically a one project at a time kind of gal.  What I have going at the moment certainly does not fit my mold.

I've made no progress on the scarf since last week.  That's because I've been drawn into my sock.

So far I'm loving the look of the design and it sure is a fascinating knit.  It isn't one that I can do while watching TV, though.  I must stay focused!

This has meant that I didn't really get much progress done on the knitting front.  I just didn't commit a lot of time to it this week.

I did meet with someone yesterday to talk about the sweater.  She looked over the pattern and helped me understand the chart and gave me some tips on color work.  I'm not quite sure when I'll start on it.  I think I should at least finish the scarf first.

As far as reading goes, we're finishing up Pippi in the South Seas this week.  My son will tell you that this is a very "hilarious" book.

lovely stitch design in your knitting! I love knitting that requires concentration then I have knitting that can be done with half my brain. Saves me from ripping out :)

It is gorgeous!

I don't read from a chart. You have my admiration. I think i might do okay if i begin using these markers from Slipped Stitch Studios (i got a gift certificate over Christmas). http://www.slippedstitchstudios.com/pages/pattern-solutions

I have a few things on the needles at a time, but if i have too many (or get too much of a stash of yarn) i get really anxious. I would do better to have one project at a time (plus the ones i keep in the car - wash rags - for when i have to wait a long time somewhere).

Your socks will be lovely. :)

Love that sock! Is the design from "Knitter's Book of Socks"? I just returned it to the library and I was eyeing that pattern ... :)

October Rose - Yes it is! I've been eyeing that pattern since I bought the book! I knew it would be for me!
